Trash 2 Treasure Tuesday

Meet Molly! She is a Black Toilet Float Fish. Made out of a black toilet float! She has silver washers for eyes. Her fins and tail are made out of an old black plastic binder. The cheapo ones that are thin plastic. I super glued the tail/fins on first then went over it with black epoxy to make sure it held up. She is mounted on a copper tubing stand like the goldfish I previously made are. The copper tubing and fitting to attach to Molly were soldered. The cost of this project was zero since I had all the supplies which makes it even better! Molly has joined the rest of the goldfish in the pond(-:

Hi Joy,
Thanks(-: I can't wait to see Mr. Smiley(-: It will be fun to see how long it takes(-: The smaller packages probably get through faster then the larger ones(-: I was cracking up when they asked on the paper how much it was worth(-: Do they open every box that goes through customs?

Molly is toooooo cute! I keep saying I'm gonna try making one of your fish......if the raccoons don't stay away from my pond it's the only kind of fish i'll be able to keep!

Cindee! You made me laugh with this one! I would never have been creative enough to figure a way to recycle a toilet bulb. It makes a rather cute fish.

Another great one girl. Don't know where you get these great ideas. Molly sure is a cutie. If I had a pond I would have to make one. If it don't stop raining I may anyway.

Molly turned out so cute. I need to find some of those floats and add them to my fish that I have on the porch.

They've been on the list, but haven't been able to work on the list lately.

Once again, very cute. I love her.
