April 29th

Another beautiful day in the garden today.

Everything is taking off.

I can't believe tomorrow is the end of April.

The crabapple tree is blooming.
It has the most beautiful smell.

Of course another owlet picture. I do see some white fuzz behind him.
Hopefully there are two.

I hope you are having an enjoyable weekend!

April 28th

The dogwood tree is really pretty this year.

Of course the maple is too.

Today on my walk I found an egg laying in the road. No trees anywhere close.

I thought it was strange.

Also a funny story.

One day, after a period of wind here, I was looking at my waterbed pond and in the middle  was this little frog floating on a packing air pocket. Kinda like an airmattress!

I thought it was funny that a piece of trash was being re purposed.

I told my husband that since it was not suppose to be there, maybe he could make a different floating device for the frog. So he did.

The frog seems happy with his new piece of wood to float on.
It was a long week and I am glad to see the weekend!
Only 28 more days of school!

Hopefully I will get some nice pictures this weekend to share!
Enjoy!

Spring Has Sprung

Finally something to share in the garden.

Things are really growing fast here.

It has been a very interesting winter and spring in the garden. We had snow twice and a lot of rain. That should make thing interesting.  Hopefully everything is happy and will bloom really well.

Here are a few updates.

Also our resident owl has hatched out at least one owlet.

She has not let us see him or her yet, but you can see a glimpse of white fuz in the picture.

That is the owlet. Usually when she stays this long with the owlet it means she just has one.

Which would be a miracle really, because of the weather. It snowed on her twice.

Hopefully soon, the owlet will make an appearance. Until then I guess we will just wait.

I hope you are enjoying the spring weather and the flowers blooming!
