This iris really shot up tall. It is about 5 feet off the ground.

It is a pretty peachy color.

It has never been that tall before.

I guess it was all the rain we had this spring.

I have really bad seasonal allergies this year.  It makes working outside challenging.  Anyhow, here are some blooms to brighten your day.

Happy Friday

 I am always happy when Friday gets here.  I hope your week went well!  School is on the last stretch before Summer!!!!!  I can hardly wait. It seems like it has gone fast at times, but still a lot of long weeks too.  Of course summer flies by. 

Thought I would share a few pictures of what is happening in the garden.

First off,  I hung an old lantern with some solar fairy lights.

Lights up area pretty good. The back side of fountain has lights too.

Don't you just love fairy lights?

This weekend I will get some pictures of what is blooming. 

Last week I also made a primitive bee doll. 

I am happy with how she turned out.

Spring Things

It has been warm and sunny this week.

Some new things are blooming like the lilac.

 The first rose has a bud ready to open.

It is called Rio Samba.

I love the orange!

And I baked some sourdough.

Do you like my new tea towel?

It says I just need to be repotted on the bottom!

Perfect for this gardener! If only it were that easy!

We are suppose to get some rain this weekend. We need it!

Vacation Is About Over

The week flew by. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

I am off tomorrow and back to work on Tuesday!

                                         We had rain and sun this week. It was cold and warm.

Flowers are starting to bloom inspite of the weather!

Spring is here!

The redbuds are blooming. They are so pretty in the spring.

This is a white one.  It is the only white one on the ranch that I have seen.

And last, but not least the owlets have hatched!

Mom is sitting on them keeping them warm. Soon they will be visable.
