An Easter Meme For A Good Cause

Shelly from This Eclectic Life made me do it, but don't panic cuz I won't "make" you do anything you don't want to do. But... read along and see if you want to participate because it's for a good cause and it won't cost you a dime(-:
You see, for every blogger who participates in the Hershey’s Better Basket Blog Hop a $10 donation is given to the Children’s Miracle Network. That’s worth doing, isn’t it? I mean, You can ensure that a donation is given to a worthy cause without spending a dime of your own money!


I’m supposed to give a “Virtual Easter Basket” to the people I tag. Shelly gave me this basket so I am passing it along to share with you! Look at all those yummy chocolate eggs!!! I love Hershey's chocolate(-: Easter Bunnies are a favorite of mine. I hope you enjoy them too!

Mosaic Mirror

I made this mirror this weekend to go above my sink.(-: It is made out of an old window frame. I cut up a few glass mirrors to use for this project. I had some of those 12X12 inch tiles you get for crafts, weddings, candles etc. I used GE Silicone Glue to glue the mirror pieces down. I always use GE Silicone Glue. I like it and its easy to use(-: Clean up can be a little tricky so its best to be careful when applying it so it doesn't get all over the place(-: A little dab goes a long way(-: I used black sanded grout to finish it off. The window frame was as is. Chippy, peeling and perfect!!!(-:

I am kinda back

Been a longggggggggg week!!! Thanks for all your concerns re: my finger!!!!! Its been a nasty mess but I think I am finally on the mend!!! It was not MRSA but another bacterial infection called Haemophilus. The skin has peeled off of the area where it was swelled leaving a "burn" type area. I still can't type with that finger so I just use my index finger or ring finger on that hand to type. I can still type fairly fast cuz I am use to being messed up from my lawnmower accident 5+ years ago. I could always write with my left hand too so that has helped me a lot. I am just hating being laid up and not working outside in the garden!!!! Anyhooooo stay tuned for my later post for Fertilizer Friday! I am waiting for the sunshine so I can get out and take a few pictures of some things blooming around here today(-: Might be cloudy pictures instead!!!!
