Dexter-ized My Finger
Couldn't take the agony anymore so I went to the doctor today. He cut it open and squeezed out all the gross goodies inside and sent my little unwanted guests to the lab for a test to see what type of infection I have(-:
Antibiotics and another trip to see the doctor tomorrow and Sunday.
Off work till then at least(-: That is the good part(-: The shots and all that gross stuff had me pretty stressed out. I actually passed out! I am a real chicken! I don't like going to the doctor on a normal day! Add shots and cutting etc and that makes for a lot of anxiety! I will take a poke from a rose thorn or barbed wire anytime over a shot!!!!! Oh well it had to be done so I was told(-:
Anyhow...
Yippeeee no more throbbing pain! I may even get some sleep tonight!!!!
Want to see a picture???(-:
Its gross...
Yup I knew you would...
Here it is...

See that little red packing material? Doesn't it look like a little tiny butterfly? That's what I thought(-:
You would have to be there to appreciate that one(-:

Out Of Commission

A few years ago I cut the tip of my finger off with the lawnmower. It has an infection in it now I guess. Unknown how that happened though. It is swollen and red, very painful. So I am not able to do anything this week except go to work and a few chores one handed. I probably should go to the doctor but I am hoping it will just get better on its own.(-: The last thing I want is someone touching it!
So I will be "lurking" around here enjoying your blogs(-:
It is raining here so no gardening anyhow! Have a great rest of your week!!!

Ghost Sighting?
I see this everyday on my walk. It waves to me as I walk along. Watching silently with hollow eyes.

It looks like a ghost. Especially on a misty morning. It even looks better in the later afternoon.

Ah...its not a ghost. Its just an old burned out tree stump. Cool though huh?(-:

As promised...Hot Chocolate just for you Joy

Is It Here?
Spring has sprung,
At least for me,
For some folks though,
It's still in their dreams,

When I see daffodils blooming,
Nodding their heads,

I know it's time,
To begin planning my beds,

I envision dozens of flowers,
In red and blue,
Yellow and pink,
And of course, white too,
I see a copper arbor,
Made just for me,
Out of recycled pipes,
All, for free,
I see iris blooming,
Ruffled and frilled,
It's my favorite,
Time of the year,
I am, just thrilled!

Valentine Jar Light

This is an easy project. All you need is a mason jar, a drill, a glass cutting drill bit and a candle jar lamp kit.
Drill the hole and wire in the electric lamp. Piece of cake(-: (The kit comes with instructions)
You can decorate the bottom of the jar or whatever you want. The options are endless!
I added a small ribbon wreath around the candle light. I made this one with left over stuff from the garland I did for my tree.
Plus the fun thing about it is you can change the decorations to match the seasons or holidays!

Valentine Tree
Here is the tree after I decorated it the first time...
The tree was from Michaels on clearance after Christmas.(-:
I made the decorations on the tree except, the garland that came from Michaels, and a few of the tags.(-:

I decided I wanted another garland on the tree so I went back to Michaels and they were all sold! So I tried to find another one at another store somewhere but everywhere I called they were sold out! So what to do? I went back to Michaels and bought two wreaths that were made with the same materials and took them apart and made a garland out of them!
I redecorated the tree and ta da...I like it much better now!
