I am enjoying the wonderful weather and working in the garden.

I pruned, fertilized and weeded. Things are doing so well this year. Even the weeds.

Oh well that is o.k. too.

My favorite rose of the day.

I love my head planters. This guy had hosta growing in him. I believe it is curly fries.

Boat garden is doing well this year. May need to prune back some.

These daylilies are from my great aunt Paulines garden.

She lived to be 106. She loved to garden.

I learned a lot from her.

The red and yellow hibiscus I over winter in the shed. I have had them for 6 years now.

 

Happy Last Week of June!

 This month is flying by. Please slow down.

I spent two weeks being sick with a respiratory virus. I am better, but still coughing.

It was terrible. My daughter had it too, but so far no one else has had it.

I am looking forward to being healthy for the rest of the summer!

Today in the garden there were two garter snakes.

 They were enjoying themselves on the waterbed pond.

The lillies are starting to bloom. Tomorrow I will get some more pictures.

The hydrangeas are also blooming.

I have a lot of pink ones, but there are a couple blueish ones too.

New Project Complete

It is vacation time and I have already finished a project with the help of my husband.

He had to add a shelf to the easel and a planter.

Here is what it looks like now.

It is a frame on a easel with an angel inside.

One More Day!

 We have finally reached the last day of school eve. 😁

In just one day from now, I will be work free. 

I can't wait to get started on some garden projects.

Bread Day

Only 4 days of school left!

I am looking forward to having time off to do things I want to do.

What that is I don't know yet.

Well today I baked sourdough. That is always fun.
