Ghost Sighting?

I see this everyday on my walk. It waves to me as I walk along. Watching silently with hollow eyes.

It looks like a ghost. Especially on a misty morning. It even looks better in the later afternoon.

Ah...its not a ghost. Its just an old burned out tree stump. Cool though huh?(-:

As promised...Hot Chocolate just for you Joy

Hi Jan,
I haven't seen a ghost before but my daughter has. My mom use to talk about seeing a hooded dark person like the grim reaper when she was a kid.

Hi GardenJoy4Me,
When I saw this I thought of you! Not because it looks like you of course(-: I told my husband I know just the person that will appreciate this one!!!(-: Glad to make your day(-: Hot Chocolate and all(-:

Hi My Little Family,
That old school house is probably haunted for sure(-:

Hi Meadowview Thymes,
When I first saw it and I had walked by it many times in the past and never "saw" it that way before, I thought it looked like a ghostly person waving. It doesn't look as creepy in the morning light(-:
I knew I had to get a picture so I could share it with everyone(-: It stands along the creek I walk by each day(-:

Hi NellJean,
Glad you enjoyed the picture(-: Its fun to see things in tree stumps(-:

Hi Gail,
Thanks! I am going to enjoy my weekend(-: I hope you have a great one too!

It would give you pause on a moonlite night. LOL! Hot chocolate is always welcome. Or any chocolate for that matter :)

OMW, That does look like a ghost. After the first startle it would be nice to know someone was there watching.

The first two photos look to be taken from slightly different angles and the second one at a closer distance.

Trees in the background seem to have vanished.

Hi Lola,

Neat. I had a scarecrow in my garden that kept scaring ME!

I'd forget it was there, walk around the barn and see it and jump back.

That is really cool looking. I thought it might've been an old Halloween decoration. Nature makes some pretty neat art!

Quit an eerie tree there! Yikes, sure makes one look twice. Illusions in nature are really interesting…
