Rain Chain

Someone threw this rain chain in the recycle bin where my brother goes. He rescued it for me. It has a beautiful patina already on it from use. I am sure that is why it was tossed out.

Some people don't like copper after it gets old. I think it is beautiful. I was also very happy this morning to be woke up by the sound of rain pouring outside! What a great Monday!

So glad you reminded me about the pump! I was sitting here thinking of something to do today. It is suppose to rain here soon but I do have time to put the pump on(-: I will go do that now(-:
Yes the freebies are so awesome. My brother lives in an area where there a lot of well to do people. They toss out everything. Its crazy. But so good for me cuz I get lots of cool stuff(-:

Thanks Vickie(-: I am going to enjoy the rain chain today. It is suppose to pour. I did however order and attachment that says it channels the water better into the chain. So will have to get that put up there after the rain stops. But it will be there for next rain(-: When it is pouring rain I noticed it just shoots out all over. I guess that would be o.k. but I wanted to see if I could get it going down straight(-: Stay tuned for the outcome of that. (-:
