Valentine Tree

Here is the tree after I decorated it the first time...
The tree was from Michaels on clearance after Christmas.(-:
I made the decorations on the tree except, the garland that came from Michaels, and a few of the tags.(-:

I decided I wanted another garland on the tree so I went back to Michaels and they were all sold! So I tried to find another one at another store somewhere but everywhere I called they were sold out! So what to do? I went back to Michaels and bought two wreaths that were made with the same materials and took them apart and made a garland out of them!
I redecorated the tree and ta da...I like it much better now!

I hate it when that happens. But, glad you figured out a way to get it looking the way you wanted it to.

It drives me crazy when I want to change something and can't find the materials.

LUV it. Very cute v'day idea.

I enjoy your holiday trees. They are so much fun and you put so much love into them! I hate it when I see something I would like then talk myself out of getting it. Then return to get it and it is gone like the wind! I thought twice about a ceramic Flower Pot in the shape of a Watering Can with a Magnolia painted on it at the Good Will store yesterday. I went back around the shelf for it and a lady was holding it looking it over. My loss and her gain as it went into her shopping cart... Sigh, I let that one get away. I reckon the trick is to pick it up and carry it around and then decide if I want it or not…

I Cindee, so sorry I haven't stopped by in such a long while. I almost gave up blogging, but finally changed my mind to stay and not leave. I felt like it was the only way to get myself off the computer...go cold turkey! It worked for a while, but I missed it too much:-) I see you are being your usual creative self and right on the ball for Valentines Day. I almost forgot it's coming up so soon! I haven't been out shopping due to a knee problem, so haven't been inundated w/the red hearts and goodies at the stores yet! I like your tree. Have fun with your creations!

Hi Japanese Redneck,
Thanks(-: I enjoy making things when I can but its fun to buy them already done too(-: I didn't think they would sell out that fast! Geez!!!

Hi Skeeter,
Thanks! It seems to happen to me a lot! I think I will go home and decide and then go back later. That is the wrong idea I guess! I should just grab it and buy it when I see it!
Sorry you lost out too! I do that when I am at a thrift store. If I don't want it when I am getting ready to go I put it back!

Hi Jan,
I have almost done that before too! Its hard to keep up with it all! I am so glad you are back(-:

Hi Hocking Hills Gardener,
Thank You! I had fun!!

Hi Jody,
I haven't got the chocolate yet! I would have ate it all already!!!(-: Next week...(-:

Hi Peggy,
Thanks! I just love Valentines Day! Seems like there are not as many decorations out there this year here either!!!

Cindee, your talent is showing! Thinking of taking another night school class so probably going to quit blogging. Ol brain drain is catching up to me. Know I won't be able to keep from checking in on you.
