Valentine Jar Light

This is an easy project. All you need is a mason jar, a drill, a glass cutting drill bit and a candle jar lamp kit.
Drill the hole and wire in the electric lamp. Piece of cake(-: (The kit comes with instructions)
You can decorate the bottom of the jar or whatever you want. The options are endless!
I added a small ribbon wreath around the candle light. I made this one with left over stuff from the garland I did for my tree.
Plus the fun thing about it is you can change the decorations to match the seasons or holidays!

Great idea. It makes use of something you have around the house. {Well, maybe not lamp kit}. I may have to try this as I like to use mason jars for different things.

Hi Hocking Hills Gardener,
Thanks(-: I like making things(-: It wasn't my idea I saw these jars on eBay and thought I would make one(-:

Hi Meadowview Thymes,
You can buy the kits online or maybe even at Home Depot or Lowes etc. They are called jar lamp kits.
This is what I used http://factorydirectcraft.com/catalog/products/2030_2036_2180-9409-2_electric_dripping_socket_cover_side_exit_lighting_kit.html

Hi Lola,
A wide mouth jar works the best so you can get your hand inside to work on it(-: Its not hard to do though(-:

Hi Jan,
Thank You(-:

Hi GardenJoy4Me,
Thanks(-: I don't seem to have luck selling my stuff(-: I just do it for fun(-: I tried etsy but no one bought my rabbits. Maybe they were to high priced(-: Oh well I am going to redo them(-:

Hi PammieJo,
Thanks! I like to make things when I have time(-:
Happy Valentines Day to you!!!
