The little mushroom stood there, growing in the rain.fresh water falling,to ease his growing pains. He had nowhere he had to be,He had no place to go,So he sat amongst the grassy weedsAnd watched the fungus grow.
Wow, you do have a lot of fungus amungyou. Oh...that doesn't work as well when not talking about ones own mushrooms. We're a long way from fungus amungus here in Nova Scotia. Yeah. That's better. Anyway, cool photos. ;-)
I have a backyard where mushrooms peek up often. I run outside and stick a gnome under them and make up stories...hmmm...not really...all the stories are true for sure! I love your poetry. I went back tonight and read your blog. Your animal kingdom is so wonderful as is your garden. A delight for sure. Sweet dreams from Washington State.
Hi Jodi,Yup those mushrooms are popping up all over the place here! Its amazing to see(-:Hi Jacqueline,Thanks for stopping by! Glad you enjoyed my blog! The mushrooms here are really going crazy! I haven't seen this many before! It is very cool(-:
I showed my friend Kurt your blog this weekend and he really enjoyed it. Oh how I long to go through his barn building on a treasure hunt. He gave me a fab terra cotta pipe that looks like an old English chimney pipe for my garden! Jennifer
How is it that I have mushrooms as well? I did not realize that they could grow out of rock with a sprinkling of clay on top!Gus went for his first haircut yesterday. He doesn't look like a baby scotty anymore. He & Max are hoping Jack is stay'n by the fire.
