The Purple Monkey aka Jack has chosen the winner of Spot Junior. Dressed in his Halloween costume, Jack took on the adventure of deciding who would be the lucky person to receive Spot Junior. Jack was quite the trooper in this little experiment and I think he actually enjoyed himself(-: Well lets say maybe the little snack was worth the torture of wearing a purple monkey on his back(-: To prepare for this, I first wrote the names of each person on the bottom of three Halloween paper plates. Then I put one teaspoon of Cesars Filet Mignon dog food in the same spot on each plate. Jack has never had this dog food before so it was something new and different for him. I then turned Jack loose. He wandered over to the left side of the plates, then veered to the middle, gave a quick sniff to the left side plate and then went in for the kill to the middle plate! The winners name is in the little animation below(-:

I didn't even know Spot was expecting...(-:
Now I have little Junior.
I will need to find a home for him.
Incase you were wondering...Spot is a Manfreda maculosa.
If you would like to be Spot Juniors new parent please leave me a message and I will send Junior off in the mail to you(-:
He needs to live in zone 7-9 to be happy(-:
If several people want Spot Junior I will let Jack decide who Spot Junior will reside with!!(-:

Happy Wednesday!!!!

This is my spooky Halloween tree. I used a burned piece of manzanita and added a lot of oak galls. My brother supplied a bag full then I found some that I picked up along the road by where I work. I think they add to the spookiness of the tree(-: My brother also found the "cauldron" the tree is cemented into. The other decorations are from last years tree.

I finished the last fairy house and decided to take the picture outside because it was sunny. Then I thought I should do all the fairy houses out in the sun so I finished taking pictures when I got home from work today(-:
