Hi Joy!
Adin is about 2 hours north east of Redding. It is very cold there!!! Yikes. Jack would freeze his little feet to the ground! It has been colder here then usual though. All my plants froze)-: I think some may come back though(-:
It is raining here today and we are happy(-: We need rain not frost(-: Happy New Year to you!!!

Hi Cindee - hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday. Interesting pics. I had to google Aiden. Never heard of it before. I, too, have lost some plants with our recent frozen spell. Just this a.m. I thought I should go outside, but its gray and damp today. Inside time!!!

Very pretty, but makes me have goose bumps just looking at it. I never think of anything in California freezing for some reason. LOL

Wishing you a New Year filled with love, good health, family ,friends and many FLOWERS.

Hi Creekside Rummager,
Adin is not a place most people don't visit to often. It is way up North(-: I hope you didn't lose to many plants)-: I am hoping mine will come back too!

Hi Brenda,
Thanks. It is a pretty scene(-: Glad I am not living to close to that right now though(-: Happy New Year to you too!!

Hi Lola,
Most people think of CA as warm sunny beaches(-: Its not that way up North(-: It is cold and miserable just like other areas of the country(-: LOL

Hi Hocking Hills Gardener,
It does freeze here but not as often as up in the mountains. Usually we will get a heavy frost or two. This year was different! Where the pictures were taken freezes all winter!
