Spooky Halloween Tree

This is my spooky Halloween tree. I used a burned piece of manzanita and added a lot of oak galls. My brother supplied a bag full then I found some that I picked up along the road by where I work. I think they add to the spookiness of the tree(-: My brother also found the "cauldron" the tree is cemented into. The other decorations are from last years tree.

How cute! Didn't you have a different Halloween tree last year? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

Very cute. I've see a few of those galls over the years, but never that many at one time.

Hi Japanese Redneck,
It was hard to find the galls but when I did OMG there are tons of them everywhere by where I work! I have to go back and pick up more. I am trying to think of more things to make out of them(-:

I wish I liked Halloween - I love the trick or treaters but thats it - it's never been a holiday I like.

My cousin in NJ gets over 800 - YES - 800 kids in her neighborhood of Branchville! It's like the town of Mayberry. J
