OH OH OH !!! Cindee that was BEAUTIFUL girl : ) I haven't been up to visiting blogs and I have missed that ... but seeing this picture Cindee .. that was such a treat .. I wish I could have seen it in person .. we have had overcast skies with some rain to come finally .. the ground is like cement here. Gorgeous pictures girl!!
Beautiful last night of summer. Can't believe it's over...but ready to head into cooler weather. Then, we can look forward to spring! :) Happy Fall to you too!
Yea, Fall is here. Now for some cooler weather. Maybe it will make for more enjoyable gardening. Hope the rain holds off as we have had enough. Other areas North of here are having a bad time. Like your pics.
Here's another Mississippi girl who would love to send some of our precipitation your way (that and the freakin' humidity). Our first day of fall felt just like any ole summer's day in the Deep South. Yuck!
Hi GardenJoy4Me, Thanks it was sure a pretty sight(-:
Hi Japanese Redneck, Thanks I will take as much rain as you can send(-:
Hi Meadowview Thymes, I am going to look forward to nice cool weather soon hopefully(-: 103 again today!!!)-:
Hi My Little Family, It was another miserable day here!
Hi Lola, Yeah some folks are getting all the rain and we are getting all the dry heat! I am sick of it!!!!
Hi WiseAcre, I really do enjoy the rain. I hope it rains soon(-: I know the people who are getting pounded are not happy right now but they haven't had a drought for the last three years probably(-: It really isn't fun. Plus the heat makes for a miserable long dry Summer. Normally we don't have rain from June through August but after the first of September we usually do get rain once a week or so. The last three years have been terribly dry and hot.
Yes, I'm looking forward to some of the wet stuff! Then again, I remember the spring when it just didn't stop, and many of my plants were suffocating. When the clay is to wet, they don't get enough oxygen.
So, rain, just the right amount, please, and nicely spaced.

I like your bye-bye summer message and right next to it is your thermometer registering 101! LOL

Summer's end and Autumn's beginning were dampened with rain here. I'm happy to see it but hope it doesn't become a trend.
