I love to see photos of fall leaves--we don't have fall here in southern Mississippi--most of the year everything is green green green from all the moisture and then when fall comes and humidity goes down, everything just dies immediately. Looking forward to seeing YOUR fall!

I'm with you on wishing for fall.

Oh Cindee I hope you get cooler weather soon - 102 is horrible - is that normal to be that high this late? We are having the really chilly crisp mornings now. In fact a little too crisp to step outside (without long johns). LOL And then yesterday it was in the 90's so my sinuses are going nuts!!!

I agree with you Cindee--it's time for fall. Are you back at school yet? Ours started last week. I think we all will be ready for cooler temps and those orange, yellow and reds of fall.
Happy September to you too! :)

You and me both! Wishing for all, that is. I am on the hunt for a spot in which to put a Japanese Maple. I've never had one, and yearn to see those red-tinged leaves.

We don't have fall over here, in fact this year we have not had any seasons at all just rain and cloud most of the time.Take lots of photos of the fall colours I love sseing them. I remember being fascinated when I was younger with the photos in the National Geographic which always seemed to feature fall in all its glorious colour. The bird house is a winner!

You're dreaming of fall and I'm hoping to stave it off for a little longer. Oh well, beautiful leaves like yours almost makes the season change worth it. Cheers!

Maybe your dreaming has helped. It has been so much cooler the last couple of days. Clearly reminding us that Fall will come.

Hi Kate Spike and Her KatS,
I can't wait to share some Fall pictures with you too!

Hi Creekside Rummager,
It is cooler here this weekend but the weather forcast is for 103 by Thursday! Can you believe it?

Hi RainGardener,
It is usually warm in September here. It was cooler the last couple days but suppose to be over 100 this week.

Hi Japanese Redneck,
I love my Japanese Maples too(-:

Hi Meadowview Thymes,
Yes we are back in school. We started back August 14th! Summer flew by and now I am to busy to do fun stuff like work in the yard!

Hi Tootsie,
Oh no that is terrible about your archway)-: I hope you can fix it. Sounds like Fall weather there! Nothing here yet. I am really wishing for rain! Its so dry and hot here)-:

Hi Urban Green,
Fall colors are my favorite! I can't wait to see more around here! The days are shorter thats for sure!

Hi CatHerder,
Me either! I was just looking at mums yesterday and thought I better wait another week or two(-: I am excited to get my decorations out!!!!

Hi My Little Family,
Yay for Fall(-:

Hi Eddie,
Not close enough yet!!!! Soon...shhhhh

Hi Kalyan,

Hi Brenda,
Some Japanese Maples stay red. Others are red in the Spring then turn green. They are such fun trees to have(-: One would look beautiful on your brand spankin new deck(-:

Hi Peggy,
Some people have much better Fall colors. In the Easten states its much prettier then here in our area. I think because its to hot here and by the time it cools down then its raining and the leaves all turn brown and fall off(-: We don't usually have a first frost until about November 15th.

Hi Kudzu,
Me too! Cooler weather must be coming soon?(-:

Hi Avis,
I know its hard to let go of Summer! I think by August when school starts I am ready for Fall weather though(-: Its to hot to go to work!!!! Makes it harder when you work in a kitchen!!!(-:

Enjoy your last bit of Summer everyone(-:
