Junk Art

My brother made me this mom and baby for Mothers Day a few years ago. She use to have a frying pan head but she fell over one day and off came her head! It was an ugly sight! Anyhow...earlier this summer I re did her when the fishing guy broke his head off. I added this clay pot for a head then planted it with dichondra silver falls. It makes a nice hair-do for her don't you think?(-:

Very nice hair do! Love the plant-not sure if I have ever heard of it. Is it a succulent?

Beautiful...you come up with the prettiest plants!
And the poor ducks...some people are too mean.
The window planter/shutter project came out great, almost time to decorate for fall and winter!

That hair was a great idea. Yes, I can see the mother and child in that.

Great plant and junk art. I'm curious - does this plant need regular water or is it drought tolerant? It looks really, really healthy.

Hi Meadowview Thymes,
The dichondra silver falls is not a succulent its more of a trailing grass, and yes it needs watering everyday here in this heat(-:

Hi Kudzu,
Thank You(-: The ducks are enjoying their new home(-:
I am looking forward to the fall weather for sure!!!!!!!

Hi Sunita,
Thanks!!!

Hi Joy,
Thank You! It is a nice hair do for that lady(-:

Hi Tina,
Thanks!

Hi Lola,
Thanks!!!

Hi Sandy,
Thank You!

Hi Creekside Rumager,
Yes it requires water everyday here in the heat. It loves to grow though. I have it in other spots around the garden and it needs clipping back!

Just checking in after being on a vacation. I love the bear post, what a great opportunity to see them so close and so many! You took some great pictures, Up north is where I saw a bear once too, I remember it took my breath away. How are the ducks doing?, glad you are able to help them, I am sure they were happy to see you! Take care~Jacque

What a great remake of a treasured gift. Who wouldn't love to have long, flowing locks like that?
