Cindee .. where is Jack's life vest girl ?? LOL .. I actually saw an amazing assort ment of pet floatation devices at "Pet Smart" .. it was a real hoot !
What a beautiful day you had on the lake .. and wow on the pictures girl !
Joy
PS .. my girls say only a dog would get in a boat, in the middle of a lake .. NO self respecting cat would ever "get in a boat" voluntarily ?? LOL

Hi Autumn Belle,
Thank You! And Thanks for stopping by!!!

Hi Rick,
Long time no hear from! How are you? The laser that my son was sailing on actually has a proceedure for getting back up right. Its interesting to watch. He stands on the keel to weight it down and bring it back over.

Hi Crafty Gardener,
Thanks the heron was pretty! There were a lot out there that day.

Hi Raggedy Angel,
The stork bird is a heron.

Hi Cherry,
Thanks. The baby ducks were so cute! I wanted to take them home(-:

Hi Brighid,
Jack says to tell Max to get out there while the water is smooth. Its the best time to practice skiing! Otherwise sit in the shade and have a cold drink and watch all the crazy people do their skiing stunts!

Hi Meadowview Thymes,
Jack says thanks. He loves to show off his cuteness!(-:

Hi Kat449,
Thanks! Jack was the top dog that day!!!

Hi GardenJoy4Me,

He says paleeseeeee Mom I am a dog!!!!
I can't show off my pretty spots if they are covered up(-:
He does have a bit of an attitude when we go to the lake!

Awesome! Oh I see, your son had to upright the sail boat--pretty cool. I bet there wasn't anything quiet about that day with all the birds squawking. Pretty little ducklings.

Hi flowergarden girl,
We were actually there that day for Scout support. My husband is a Scout Master with the troop. The boys were practicing sailing for their merit badge. I went along to enjoy the lake. My son is an Eagel Scout and was helping that day also.(-:

Hi Kudzu,
It was so nice there. We plan to go again this weekend to fish.(-:

I love your photos, Cindee! I see heron here, too, when we go out on our boat in the Occoquan and/or Potomac River. We also get those Canada geese, right here in our neighborhood. The ducklings with their mama are great captures, too!
