There's A New Bug In Town

Can you guess what he is made out of?(-:

His "Stinger" was glued but the rest of him is wired on.
He could be considered a "Guard Bug" because with that stinger no one would want to run into him!

What a great bug...it would be interesting to learn what it once was. Fun to be creative with what we have.

Cindy what a cute idea for a oil can.It will look good gardening your flowers from the smaller bugs.

Very very cute. Love it. Looks like an oil can to me too, but you said the stinger was glued on. So now I'm thinking part oil can and part car part. Like a filter.

I read your comment On Hocking Hills Gardener about having problem with internet explorer opening blogs. I have been having same problem with most all blogs don't know why. A couple times had to resort to using safari to open them. I like your blog, pictures and especially the "stinger"

Hi Kudzu,
Thanks! I call him a he(-:

Hi Chris,
The bug is made out of an old water soaker for the body, an oil can spout, washers and hinges(-:

Hi TexasDaisy,
Thank You(-:

Hi Hocking Hills Gardener,
Thanks! I think he will too!

Hi Japanese Redneck,
You are right it is an oil can spout for the stinger part. It is glued to an old water soaker(-:

Hi Brenda,
Thanks(-: I don't know about selling them but it was fun to make(-:

Hi nc shabbybeach,
I want to make a bottle bug too! I haven't found the right bottle though. I have to make a trip to the Salvation Army I guess.
Thanks for stopping by(-:

Hi My little family,
Thanks!(-:

Hi Joe Todd,
I don't have the other operating system. I guess I will have to just deal with Microsoft for now. Maybe they will fix the problem?(-:

I am rolling at your description--guard bug. I agree. No one will come near with that stinger. He's cute. I got a bunch of junk from my uncle recently. I've got to put your thinking cap on and hope for a fraction of a chance to create a bit of what you do. Wish you were here to help.
