New Babies

These babies are next to my front door in a potted fern. Their mom sat patiently while we came and went through the door many times over the last couple of weeks. Finch are so interesting how they build their nests so close to the area that is busy with humans.
They are such a joy to watch.(-:

I had finch babies on my front door wreath this spring Cindee. I am amazed too at how people never seem to bother them. Enjoy your new "babies" ~ mine have fledged the nest but I still miss the activity around the door.

Goodness, wish I could have some up that close. But then again, I guess not, considering Clyde. Wonder what they are?

I had to focus through the fluff to see the beaks and such. What awesome photos!
