I've never seen them before. They are great! Guess I should have at least one to go with my vintage headvases. My daughter bought me a body vase - she thought I needed one to go with my headvases too.

I love the planter heads and would like to have them. Unfortunately, Jamie thinks they are spooky looking. :-)--Randy

Hi Pammie,
Do you need an address? They are very pricey but the female head planters are at Daves Garden.Daves Garden The half faces are everywhere and are also pretty pricey. they are called Faccia head planters. Just type in faccia head planter in your search engine and you will find a ton for sale! If you find a good deal let me know(-:

Hi Joy,
They are extremely awesome(-: I will send you an email!

Hi RainGardener,
My mom collects antique head vases! That is cool your daughter got you a body vase(-: I think the these garden planters are just what you need to go with them(-:

ARe those all yours? Quite a nice colleciton. I have one head and I like to plant things in it to look like hair but something keeps digging it out of the pot. Not sure why.....

Hi Hocking Hills Gardener,
They are awesome! The smaller ones are cool! I wish I could find them at a cheaper price(-:

Hi Perennial Gardener,
They are really fun. I bet a person would get a lot of comments on one if it was in their garden!!!

Hi My Little Family,
I would love to see your garden head planter! Those are not mine. I wish though!!!!!!!

What a conversation piece.

They are cool but then you used a bad word - pricey. But they would make a good hypertufa project - not that I would be able to make anything that resembles a human.

I do have mushrooms growing out of my ears - does that count?

hi Cindee,

I looked at Daves Garden and did not see the heads that are pictured in a group? Can you tell me more about them and where they can be found? They look like something we make at our nursery.
I have never seen them anywhere else. We give a portion of the sale to Alzheimer's. We raise money for Alzheimer's research. Both my mom and dad had it. I needed a way to represent alzheimer's in a garden and the human head is what I came up with. We created a garden called The Plant-a-Head for Alzheimer's Memory Garden. you can see it at I would love to know more about the pic with the group of heads because they look exactly like the ones we make. Thank you

Hi Jenny,
I tried to find an email address to reply to but I did not see one on your blog.
There are two places I have found these heads for sale.
I hope that is what you were looking for.
How much do you charge for your head planters? Just curious(-:
Thanks for writing!

Hi again,

Would love to know where the picture of the group of four heads is from? Looks just like ours. We sell them for $49.99 and $5 of that goes to Alzheimer's research.
