Rain, but not here...
This has happened a lot lately. Last Friday we had a sprinkling of rain but nothing that soaked into the ground. It rains everywhere around us but not on us! I can see the rain coming down in streaks but it keeps passing us by. The downtown area got drenched. Bone dry out here. Maybe we will get lucky later this week when more rain is in the forecast!

Do you see a face? I think he is blowing the rain away from us!

Beautiful flowers - you are a Clematis lover too. We moved Josephine this year and she looks happy so far. Hope so cause I just love her.

I love your Clematis too Cindee. Very pretty with their ruffled centers. I don't have a clue what your unnamed one is but here's a site that might be helpful: http://www.clematis.com/html-docs/varieties.html

First time visitor. Great looking clematises! Nice selection too. Just checked my Clematis henrii and there are 25 or so blooms on my 10 year old plant.

I like the unknown clematis best. Simple with a little detailing for effect.

We had our warm rain. Things have exploded the last day or so. I'm only sorry that the grass has started to grow.

Hi RainGardener,
I moved mine too! It is much happier where it is now! It will be much prettier in a few days when it all opens up(-:

Hi perennialgardener,
Thanks for the link. I will go there and see if I see mine(-:

Hi Joy,
Thanks(-: Betty got a dose of chicken manure this year! She loves it!!!! LOL(-: It was an experiment and it was successful! I have never seen Betty bloom so well!(-:

Hi Randy Emmitt,
Thanks for visiting! I bet your Clematis Henrii is beautiful!

Hi WiseAcre,
Thanks(-:
The unknown clematis is a really pretty one(-:
The grass does love rain(-: Now you will have to mow(-:
I love to mow the lawn(-: I am allergic to grass and all that but I still love the smell of a fresh cut lawn. Unfortunately, so do the cows. It brings them on a sight seeing tour!

Clematis is on my wish list. Someone sent me some seeds, but they didn't come up. I'm going to have to go to a nursery and get the plant. Such beautiful flowers on them!

Nice garden pictures, and I love looking for things in the clouds. I plan to tour my yard today and snap some photos, change happens so fast this time of year, everything is starting to burst into bloom, lots of birds and butterflies enjoying the garden.~Jacque

Hi Brenda,
I never have luck with seeds. You should just get a plant. Jackmanii is one of the easiest to grow and its a pretty blue/purple. It blooms a lot of the summer for me.

Hi Jamie and Randy,
Thanks for stopping by! I think that is a cool looking cloud face too!

Cindee, I'd love to spend a day in your garden, even if it were only to weed! ;-Þ

Beautiful clematis Cindee.
Hope the rain makes it your way soon. We have had lots, I'm wishing it would stop just a bit so I can get out in yard!

That is such a sweet rose. It does look like a baby blanket. Those ice skates look perfect with the sweet little icy white blooms.

You need rain don't you? I'm sorry they are going around you. Those are some pretty cool pics though and I do see the face.

I saw the face. Sad it is blowing the rain away from you.
Loved the pic of the flowers. For some unknown reason I can't grow Clematis here. I think they are so pretty.

Hi Renna,
Thanks(-: You can come anytime and you wouldn't have to do any weeding(-:

Hi Meadowview Thymes,
Some areas around us are getting lots of rain. Just not right over our house...lol(-: Maybe I need to do a rain dance?(-:

Hi My Little Family,
I really don't do anything with the Clematis. Just water and feed. They seem to grow well all by themselves(-:

Hi flowergardengirl,
Thanks(-: That rose does look so sweet and pink(-: I was reading about them online and it says they are a ground cover also(-: When I saw that at the nursery I knew I had to have one(-: I have had that about 10 years(-:

Hi Lola,
It is so strange how some plants grow well in some areas and others don't. I am not sure what makes Clematis grow well. They seem to do good here though(-: It is so hot and dry in the summer maybe they like that(-: Maybe they don't like to be fussed over either. I don't pay them much attention(-: Infact a couple of mine are down right neglected!

I love Betty Boop! And your clems are so pretty. Still awhile before mine bloom. Awesome cloud pictures!
