Happy First Day of Spring!

Well the Ground Hog got his way and the time has passed! Now it is time for sunshine and blooming flowers!
I hope you all have a great weekend!
Our weather forecast is calling for SNOW! That's right...Is that funny or what? I won't hold my breath for that to happen, but if it does, I hope it's late Sunday night so I can have a day off on Monday(-:

Happy first day of spring Cindee! I hope the weatherman is wrong and you don't get any of that snow. Of course a day off on Monday is always nice. :)

Snow?? I remember driving through the bluebonnets one spring while snow flurries were coming down! Really weird--but kind of pretty!
Happy Spring Cindee!

SNOW! Oh my goodness, I can't imagine. I do remember one time getting 8" of snow on March 22. When I was a kid we lived out west of Red Bluff CA toward the coastal Mts. and it snowed good, I remember running in it with the dogs, missing school and my parents not being very happy about it. Happy First Day of Spring! this is one of my very favorite Holidays! yes Holiday.. have a springy one~Jacque

Happy Spring! We are getting some warmer temps now and our snow may be gone by Monday or Tuesday. Funny, the forecast here is for rain early in the week.

Winter did it's best this last month...but I won't count out any Spring snows either.

I am so sorry-you just can't have snow on the first day of spring! I'll keep my fingers crossed that the weather forecast is wrong! Happy Spring! It's finally sunny here and looks like spring-although it's a bit chilly and windy. No snow though, and hopefully not for a long while!

Happy Spring to you too Cindee. We're supposed to get snow on Monday too ~ after 70 degree days that's going to be hard to take! btw, those were adorable pictures of your dog smelling the flowers!

Hi Joy,
Isn't a riot? I can't believe it. It was 80 here today! I am going to go into shock!(-:

Hi Perennialgardener,
Thanks! I would love to have Monday off work(-:

Hi WiseAcre,
Ha Ha you have to work! I am looking forward to Spring Break!

Hi Meadowview Thymes,
I bet the snow on the bluebonnets was beautiful!

Hi Jacque,
I remember when it snowed here at the end of March one year! The kids had their plastic sleds and were sliding down the hill having a blast! Seems like yesterday!

Hi ChrisND,
I bet you are ready for some Spring weather there! Hows the doggie?(-:

Hi Darla,
I know!!! Snow is for January not now!!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Hi Susan S,
Thanks! I will keep that in mind if it snows(-: I know we need the water here for sure! I just hope nothing freezes!

Hi Tina,

Hi Jan,
Thanks(-: I wouldn't mind the rain but a snow would crush all the plants etc. I don't think I would be to happy about it! So maybe we will just have rain instead(-:

Hi Kathleen,
Thanks(-: It is weird to have such warm days and then have snow in the forecast! So strange. The clouds have been coming in though since mid afternoon so who knows!

Wow, snow this late. Still the year before last we had snow falling, but not sticking, on a day in April. Snow hardly ever sticks here.
