Bloomin' Tulip

This is the Christmas gift my brother made me! I still can not find my camera so I had to dig the old Sony dinosaur out of storage to use. Its one of those initialize and finalize disk type ones. It makes me crazy. The battery is dead so I have to keep plugging it in etc. I hope I find my other camera!!!!
Anyhow, this creation was made using an old glass lampshade welded onto a rebar stem with rebar leaves. I just love it!!!
This creation was made with all recycled materials. As you may recall from previous posts my brother is a dumpster diver and "resues" things to reuse. Hope you enjoy the picture. And.... yes, that is rain in the picture!!!!!!!

Wow, very clever, I love it! You get the coolest stuff from your brother, too bad we don't have artists like him close to us:D

Send some rain this way, Cindee! Your brother is very clever and talented. And he most certainly knew exactly what would tickle his sister's fancy. Now how many men do you know who would have given a real handmade gardening gift? He's a keeper!

Way cool! I really like that. Did you bake your brother some cookies or make him a pie?

Hi Gail,
Thanks(-: I haven't figured out where to place it yet but I will soon(-:

Hi Perennialgardener,
Thanks. My brother loves making welded creations(-;

Hi Kudzu,
It is fun that my brother makes cool stuff and shares with me(-:

Hi Cindy,
Thanks(-: I will enjoy it for years and years(-:

Hi Brenda,
I am lucky my brother likes to make things for me(-: I really enjoy all the stuff he makes. His wife thinks I am weird because she does not like all his creations. She thinks they are junk.
I will send some rain your way if there is any left(-: It is so dry here. Scary to think it could be another dry fire season this summer.

Hi Meadowview Thymes,

Hi Rick,
I did bake him some yummy Polish Bread(-: He like it(-:

Hi Sunday Girl,
Thanks for commenting. I am sure there are brothers like mine out there...but I don't know of any off hand(-:
