Well although the daffodils are blooming, when the Quince breaks out it just finally feels like Spring to me. The almond tree has yet to bloom, but its going to happen any day now. I saw three robins in the yard yesterday, so I know nesting time is near too. The North American Robin is one of the first birds to lay eggs and they usually have two or three broods per season. I have yet to see a Robins nest but I will keep an eye out for one this year.

Happy Moanday!!! You probably know my life has been full of craziness lately. Anyhow I am finally getting back in the swing of things and looking forward to the future of Spring!!!! I have been sewing again and that seems to help get me in the mood to be creative and motivated. I love sewing but for a year or more I haven't done a thing. When the DD got married in January I decided I needed to get her old room re done. I am working on it!!!! Might get it done by summer....(-: Anyhow I made three cute primitive rabbits two for my DD's room and one to sell on eBay. I also bought a couple on eBay and redid them. When my DD was little her room was done in Peter Rabbit and friends.(-: I always loved rabbits and so I decided to do the room in rabbits again...only this time with a primitive twist! Here are the two I bought on eBay and repainted/dressed.

I do!!! I have gotten a lot done over this weekend. Including a Primitive embroidery in an old wooden window frame. I bought the shutters on eBay and I just love them next to the window. I am redoing the dds' room in an Primitive Americana theme, incase you wondered. (-: I have so much to do but I managed to finish painting her bed black and finishing it with a brown antiquing gel. I really like how it turned out. Thanks to Judy from Primfolks for the great idea!!!! Now I have a vanity to paint to finish up that project. I of course have the bedroom walls to paint and I have wallpaper border to put up as well. New carpet/curtains etc. Its quite a makeover! Its keeping me busy and that keeps me happy!!! As for the garden that is coming along as well. I spent several hours raking leaves again this weekend and pruning! Its almost done. Things are starting to grow and it is starting to look like Spring is springing up...finally!!!!! I hope everyone is getting a chance to enjoy the outdoors!
