Violet Progress

Here is what they looked like when I got them:

As you can see the violets have all pretty much done good. Except there are two that have not grown any new leaves at all. I started these leaf cuttings on April 3rd of this year. It has been an interesting experience to see them grow or in some cases not grow. Now I can't wait to see them bloom! Stay tuned for the continuing Violet Drama(-:

It's so much fun to watch new plants bloom. So I'm assuming you don't know what color each one will be. What a surprise that will be!

How great is that! My sister used to raise African Viloets...but she lost interest. I could never keep them alive, I'm sorry to say. Keep up the good work,Cindee!

I think it's great that you have the names of all of them. I wish I had the names of mine. Sorry to say when you get them from a big box store they don't have the names of them.
Yours is looking great.

Great job Cindee dear,
I can't keep them alive either. My grandmother used to have several... she just looked at them and they grew!! If I spoke in the same room with them... they would die! :( So I stayed away from them.

THanks dear for visiting my blog, and your sweet comment dear!

I hope your having a wonderfully blessed day dear!

They look great Cindee. African Violets can be kind of persnickety to grow. If you have the perfect light conditions they just excel. My grandmother always has had such great success with them.
