Cindee girl ! You are so way ahead of me. I usually have to wait until the week of Halloween, because you just never know what might "walk off" to a new home. Great job girl !!!!!!
I haven't seen a tombstone in anyone's yard here. I don't think the Coast is big on Halloween othen than the parties. We do have a haunted house or two. I think it might be because it is so hot still. Hard to get into a Fall mood when you are still wearing shorts and tank tops. LOL
Hi perennialgardener, Thanks. They do look pretty good for fakes. One is made out of a resin type material and the others I have are all styrofoam.
Hi Joy, We live out in the country. There are no neighbors to mess with my stuff. Unless you count the wild neighbors(-:
Hi eve, It is still summer weather here too. Its all Joys fault cuz she told me I had to get on the ball and get to decorating...lol(-: I usually do get things up by the first week of October though so really I'm only a week early(-:
Neat stones Cindee. Usually my son decorates for all the seasons. He has so stones that he puts out. One even moves & talks--scares people to death. Sooooo funny to watch people.
I hereby declare you the Halloween Queen, Cindee! Now when I see something for the season in the store, I often think of how you've decorated your home and garden. Brenda
Your set up reminds me of one of our old neighbor's house. They had a whole yard full of tombstones, spooky sounds, strobe lights, a fog machine, I could go on and on. Very goolish.
I dont really decorate too much for Halloween because we live in the country and dont have Trick or Treaters. But while hunting for Fall items yesterday, I spotted lots of Halloween goodies at the Dollar Tree! They had the Styrofoam tombstones, skulls, bones, and all kinds of neat stuff at bargain prices of $1.00 each item!
Hi Cindee, The talking tombstone was only 1 thing. Young'un would go all out--fog machine, recordings, spider webs, fake arm laying just under his car {that had been lowered}, him dressed up sitting very still [in car} till they wondered if he was alive. I tell you it was a riot. Scared people half to death---but they remember & come back every yr. to see what he's done or changed. Kinda nice for a change.
Cute! I can't wait to get mine out. I'm waiting a little while longer so no one messes with mine either. :) I usually put them out a few days before halloween.
Hi Cindee!...Thanks for the visit! I have to tell you...this looks great! I don't decorate for Halloween anymore, no one would see it way back in the woods!
