Window of Opportunity

I got this window for free off Craigs List. It is huge! When I went to pick it up I drove my car. It wouldn't fit in it and I had to go back with my truck to get it. I didn't measure it but I would guess it's at least 5 feet square. I am going to paint it and hang it on my porch for my clematis vine to grow through(-:

Free! I never seem to find anything free! But it is going to be beautiful.

A great find and an excellent idea on how to use it -- take about a window with a view! :)

Oooooh, I see lots of possibilities! Throw in some other vine seeds, too. Then you'll get a mix of color; more bang for the buck!

That will make a nice addition to your eclectic garden Cindee. Like the other posters, I look forward to seeing pictures of it next season.

awesome find, cindee! maybe this winter you can hang snowflakes made from found objects in the panels while you wait for spring!

Fantastic freebie. I can see all sorts of "things" happening with this window. Keep us posted.

That's a great freebie! You gotta love fantastic finds like that which cost nothing but the gas to haul it away. I'd probably make a false window box on the bottom of the window to help anchor it and add character. You'll have to show us what you do with it.

What a great idea! I have an old window, with the glass in it. It was in our home when we moved in. I have not decided what to do with it for years now. I think I want to put a window box in under it and hang it on the house somewhere. I love your idea.
