It looks almost like a tiger moth. Very pretty and defensive too!
Wow, that fuzzy moth would have enjoyed the visit we just made to the state fair. They're easier to get close to than butterflies, aren't they?
Cindee, Very pretty! Come on over Cindee...to get your "Smile Award" You make me smile when I read your blog....:) Kathy
What an interesting moth. I have never seen anything like it before, but he seems kind of defensive as Tina said.
Spooky--makes me think of Halloween!
Isn't it interesting what all we see out there, if only we pause to look? And the beauty, though simple, is both refreshing and wondrous too!Brenda
What a pretty moth. I thought at first it was a dove. Had to look twice to realize it wasn't a bird but a moth. Do you have many of them?
Hi tina,It is a strange moth. Not something I would want to land on my head(-;Hi cinj,They are easier to see. I guess they land longer then a butterfly.Hi pgl,It is kinda defensive. I can't believe he reared up and challenged you. Funny it was out during the day. I thought they were mainly nocturnal.
He's really beautiful. I would have been surprised by his agressive side.
Ok ... I have to say I would be RUNNING SCREAMING from this moth monster .. I have a fear of moths you would not believe .. I know you are laughing reading this .. how can a grown woman be that sissy ? LOL
Until I read the topic title, Like Lola, I thought it was a white dove! Aggressive moth? Wow, interesting...
Hi Anna, That is weird about the moth.
