I would be loony by now. You all must feel like freight trains puffing and snorting. I've got a big fan blowing nice clean air that way but I don't think it's working. You better come to NC .

Ew! What a pain. At least you're creative and able to find things to do to occupy your time. I'll send some of our rain that way, it could pound that smoke right down. Then I could get my shed painted too if it weren't rainy and humid.

Oh, Cindee, I am so very sorry for you. We get terrible fires in August many years in Oklahoma, and I just hate it for everyone concerned. Hang in there. I will pray for rain.~~Dee

I've never lived near a forest or forest fires, so I can't imagine what it must be like. :-o

I hope your smokiness doesn't last too long, occasionally when they have a fire in Canada we'll get a day like you're having. I think smokey the bear has gone nuts! :)

Thank you for all your wonderful comments today, they put a big smile on my face :D. You are very thoughtful!

I was by a few days ago looking around and saw your bowling ball globe and your totems. Awesome! My Mother made a couple totems a few years ago, she has them in her garden. I love the blue ones! I'm wondering who gets rid of their bowling balls...I've never seen one at a thrift store or garage sale...I will keep looking cuz I love them!

Have a wonderful evening!

I'm sorry about your smoky skies. We get smoke in the spring sometimes from agricultural fires in Mexico. It sure does smog up the sky. Here's a wish for a nice rainstorm to clear things up.
