It was open yesterday when I got home from our lake trip. I just purchased this one at the nursery on Friday. I bought two other ones that have not bloomed yet. Hot Lips and Strawberry Candy. I can't wait to see them bloom!

A beautiful day lily--I have never seen one this color. And, I LOVE the sink!! What a talented and creative person you are!
That blood red center surrounded by those white petals makes me think of our sins washed white by the blood of Jesus.
If you are not a christian, I hope I've not offended, but that is exactly what popped into my head when I saw that flower. It's gorgeous!

Just beautiful. I bet it shows up well from a distance too. Looks like it's got a big face.
