The Lady Is Blooming

I love when the Lady Banks rose blooms. I have pruned this into a small tree and I have had good luck with it so far. I have to prune it after it blooms and then a couple times throughout the summer. To bad it only blooms in the spring. Oh well it really does put on a beautiful show for a short time!

The Yellow Lady Banks is one of my favorites is on my to get list this year. It's the original yellow rose of Texas. I hearda funny story about this tree. I heard it grew 50ft in 3 yrs. It grows well in trees because by the time the tree is ready to leaf out, the rose is done blooming and doesn't compete. I'm thinking of letting it take over my back forest. Your patience at keeping it trimmed to a tree deserves an award.
