California Lupins is what we call them here. I just had to post that picture for all the Texan bloggers. I know your Blue Bonnets are so much prettier there. It's to dry here this year. Does anyone remember that old margarine commercial? I had thought of that as I was snapping pictures today(-:

Thanks for visiting my blog. We love our husky and it really is a nice climate for her. She likes swimming in the summer, but winter is her favorite.
Gus looks like a handsome guy. Most huskies seem to be very gentle and loving dogs (with lots of energy).
I forgot to grow these this year and now I am so jealous.
It looks pretty similar to a Texas bluebonnet. Maybe taller. And yes I do remember that old Bluebonnet margarine commercial. :-)
I don't plant these flowers they grow wild out here.(-: They are everywhere unless the cows eat them(-:
